Euro pallet
A standardised wooden load carrier – widely used in Europe, it plays a key role in international trade and logistics in particular.
The Euro pallet, technically known as a “flat wooden pallet per EN 13698-1” with the dimensions 800 x 1200 x 144 mm, has been the basis of the open Euro pallet exchange pool since 1961. With over 1 billion Euro pallets in circulation, it is now the most widely used load carrier in the world and the basis for transport in industry, trade and logistics. The independent standard and quality assurance as well as the qualified selection of licensees ensure smooth use both in the supply chain and in the automated processes. The global exchange system conserves natural resources and minimises CO2 emissions.
